Reaching Out

I get a lot of emails, and my inbox is growing into an uncontrollable disaster. I generally try to respond to course-related emails within 24 hours, and then to collaborators who I’m already working with, but I may take longer to respond to other emails.

In general, I am not able to take remote students unless we have met at a conference or there are prior arrangements.

For students currently at Emory: unfortunately, I am not able to take on more students at this time. If you want to discuss research opportunities:

  • The best way to get involved in research is to do well in my courses and express your interest early on.
  • I expect you to have taken Emory’s CS-334 or CS-534 (or equivalent) and have a solid understanding of the material.
  • Please first fill out this form.
  • Prefix your email subject with “[tiny TAIL]” so that I can easily locate your email. I will reach out to you if I think you might be a good fit for my lab.
